I’ve had the pleasure of being served by Nichole in the fabrics department. Since opening this store, Nichole has been the most helpful, polite and most knowledgeable person in this department. Others have been rude, disinterested and dismissive in the past. Nichole is a keeper

Amazing service from the staff today. (Sunday).Their knowledge of store products & it’s availability was exceptional My usual attempts to shop at this store have been during weekdays & have left me leaving empty handed & feeling dismissed, ‘in the way’ & a bother to the ladies on duty as I’m passed, or rather pointed in the direction of one server to another.However the weekend girls were eager to help & extremely courteous. Special thanks to Brooke for her assistance. She saw me struggling & immediately called another staff member over to checkout my purchases & pack them for ease of movement, going beyond the norm to help me without any hesitation, with a bright, cheerful attitude.Even calming me as she could see I was harassed. The service was fast and efficient. I might add that, not being a ‘local’, we headed out of the car park the ‘wrong way’ towards the exit and this was very quickly drawn to our attention by two rather rude drivers 🤔 Hmmm …

Look, this is my favourite shop. Fellow customers, before unloading on a poor individual staff member who has any degree of sewing skill, put yourself in their shoes. The pay, the mountain of stock, the other staff that were working at a fast food restaurant last week and have no sewing skills….and think first, how YOU would be working at Spotlight. Answer: You couldn’t do it, you’d keel over after a day. Management, poor pay, and high work loads are to blame, NOT individual staff members. You keep this up, you’ll be served by someone new each week, with NIL sewing skills or experience. See how you like your Spotlight shopping experience then. And to leave bad feedback over a staff member not being helpful when they’re counting meters of fabric, or busy with other customers …. What you think she got two heads with two brains…. Come on. When I’m in Spotlight, I’ve noticed some fellow customers seem somewhat more “entitled” down here. Perhaps your wealth, age or standing means you are surely better than most. My opinion is that the very fact you think that, negates that possibility completely.

Best Spotlight store we have ever been in! Very well organised! Super clean! Even the dressmaking patterns were all in order and not so tightly packed that you couldn't see the numbers, as is often the case in other Spotlight stores. Very helpful staff.

I really enjoy coming in here. Great selection of products, especially things for Xmas including cute wrapping paper and wide selection of ribbons. I’ve never had any issues with the staff in this store, I have actually found them quite approachable when I haven’t been able to locate a product.

I would highly recommend this store the beautiful manager Kay went above and beyond today for us doing our daughter's 3rd birthday balloons. We brought in our balloons and kay inflated them and made them look amazing she took her time to fit us in last mintue and even gave our daughter a ballon to take home aswell. It made our day having such a wonderful experience with her thank you Kay your kindness didn't go unnoticed today such a wonderful person.
